Union Internship

I first became interested in graphic design from freelance artists like Kode Abdo (@bosslogic) posting edits of athletes on social media. Ever since then, it had been a dream to design for one of Philadelphia’s major sports teams.

During my summer with The Union I was lucky enough to work on a variety of projects, across different mediums and placements. The design team collaborated with the social media team in weekly meetings to discuss content ideas. I assisted the design team with the conceptualization of visual looks/templates for special campaigns throughout the season (All-Star Game, Playoffs, Upcoming Season).

Though, admittedly, my favorite task was a bit more simple. On game days, I had the pleasure of sitting field side! I would collect SD cards from our team photographers periodically and select images to upload for the social and design teams; That’s me on the left in the photo above, patiently beside our photographer waiting after a goal!
